One Little Word

Well it has only taken me until February to post my One Little Word.  If you were one of the unfortunate souls to have been on this roller coaster ride with me since, oh say, last May you would understand why.

And yes, some of those days were the throw up your hands and scream days...but not the good kind.

But here we are in a new year not too bad thus far and I am bound and determined to get this rollercoaster back on track and as it should be.  So my one little word for the year is Comeback.

This is a year of serious possibilites and change...and hours spent on Pinterest.

Hello 2011!

 
As we all look to the new year with ambition, hope, goals and resolutions I too have taken some time to reflect on the past year and aspire for 2011.

I have never been one to make New Year's resolutions, I just never wanted to set myself up for failure. However, as I have thought back to how this past year has been such a blur I have decided to set goals and of course in true Ali fashion pick my one little word for the year. 

The past year has been full, full of work and forgotten daily moments...some good, some bad. 

I aspire to move work to its rightful place behind, marriage, family and living.
I plan to celebrate lifes daily moments small and grand.
I hope to focus more time on the things that matter most, starting with my lovies.

So my one little word for 2011....Live.

I resolve to live healthy, live happy and live fully. 

My schedule is changing at work and will have impact on my family time. My goal is to maximize the time I will have at home everyday with Marcus and McKenzie.

Scheduling my days for happiness.

Making plans to celebrate the years traditional events and life's everyday moments we take for granted. Plan moments to celebrate friendships and life's achievements.

Life is full, it passes quick and before you know it you've missed out on all the good stuff. Planning ahead and scheduling for happiness is my way to capture it all. Of course in true Casey fashion, the fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants moments are a must have as well.
