Meet our newest addition to the family.
Murry.
Cub.
Marc and Marcus happened to be out shopping at a local farm supply store recently and as they always do this time of year, they had a whole lot of bunnies.
And now they have two less.
Marc and I have previously discussed getting a bunny for the kids. One I thought would be kept outdoors once we finished our backyard. We also talked about waiting until Easter as it would be quite the appropriate time.
They arrived in January and they are far from outdoors.
Yes, they have taken up residence in our living room.
And because we couldn't just have one with two children to fight over we are the proud owners of two bunnies. Murry is McKenzie's bunny and Cub (formerly known as Bunny) belongs to Marcus. Cub is quite often seen in this position as he is desperately trying to get away from the five-year-old boy.
Murry is often observed hanging out with McKenzie in a peculiar location.
For whatever the reason, he likes sitting in the hood of her sweatshirts. She can wander around and Murry will sit there until you take him out.
The beauty is while I enjoy holding them and watching the kids, as this was not my idea (at the time) I am not the one tasked with keeping the cage clean.
